Corporate governance function

Stena AB’s corporate governance function is responsible for ensuring that operations are conducted in a responsible and efficient manner.

The function works systematically to assist the businesses in reaching their objectives by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluating and improving governance, risk management, compliance, information security and internal control, including implementation of best practices.

An important part of this is to ensure a common approach through the Group’s governing policies and guidelines. Decisions regarding corporate governance are anchored in Stena AB’s Board of Directors and implemented across the operations. The review of internal control over financial reporting is regularly reported by Corporate Governance to Stena AB’s Audit Committee.
